Our pilot site was set up in 2013 to provide feasibility study, experimental trial, prove value and to reveal deficiencies. Installed as a full scale platform, our test was configured as Free-to-air receivable for standard household DVB-S2 receivers. As a result, the number of free viewers grown up to thousands as compatible receivers are available in the market. The viewing public now strongly suggested for an open system. In response to this request, two transponders had been opened for this purpose.
A plan to setup a permanent head-end (program source) by a Partner is in discussion with us. The proposal is to aggregate available FTA programs and position DTMD as an Ad-driven multi-channel freeTV service. PayTV and FreeTV is entirely a deferent model not intended to compete or switch existing payTV subs but to "Enable" the remaining majority number of households who have never had access to multi-channel TV or cannot afford it. FreeTV over DTMD aggregates FTA programs into one pipe. Unlike PayTV, FreeTV may not carry paid premium contents. Click here for comparison..

You can receive DTMD feed freely using any FTA DVB-S2 HD set-top-box and a standard DTH dish antenna (35cm to 65cm) with Universal Ku LNBF (9750/11600 LO). FTA Receivers can be acquired from satellite TV dealers, CATV equipment distributors and in the internet. China is a good source of FTA receivers where anyone can import a number of set-top-boxes, antenna's and LNF and sell it freely. FTA receivers is an open market used to receive FTA programs from the satellite and same receiver that can be use to receive DTMD.
To receive, locate and point your antenna to our nearest Access Point where line-of-sight can be achieved. Example is 14°41'35.09"N 121° 9'49.72"E for the San Mateo, Rizal AP. There are several free Mobile Apps to aid directing the AP from your location like OnPoint, RightDirection and other free direction finder Apps for android. Our AP locator is here...
Please be noted that typical DTH antenna's are offset that may require up-side-down installation to meet the right angle. This are the parameters of our 2 open transponders: F11750 H SR30000 and F11850 H SR30000.
The easiest way to send program or operate a channel to DTMD is via the Internet. A decent 3Mb CIR internet connection is required for 1 SD video channel, 10Mb for an HD and 500kbps for a radio channel. After reviewing the fitness of your program, a VPN access and IP port shall be provided. Your streaming server can be hosted by an ordinary PC using an open source OBS, VLC or commercial software.
